SEAN F. DARKE is a Shareholder for Wessels Sherman Joerg Liszka Laverty Seneczko, P.C., where he focuses on defending businesses in employment and labor law litigation matters.  Mr. Darke successfully defends businesses in all employment matters including, but not limited to, wage and hour class action litigation under the Fair Labor Standards Act and the Illinois Minimum Wage Law, the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act, the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, and the numerous other wage and hour laws throughout the country.  Mr. Darke also defends businesses in cases involving discrimination under Title VII, the Illinois Human Rights Act, Equal Pay Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, among others.  Mr. Darke has experience in both bench and jury trials.  Mr. Darke was recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer Rising Star for both 2015 and 2014, which is presented to only 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40.

Mr. Darke earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Michigan State University College of Law.  Mr. Darke also studied abroad for a summer at the University of Dublin College of Law, Dublin, Ireland, where he studied issues relating to the European Union.  Mr. Darke earned his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam in Business Economics.
