ExperienceBefore joining Wessels Pautsch & Sherman P.C., GERALDINE B. REED was associated with two law firms and a nationwide corporation. She functioned as senior corporate paralegal at Jenner & Block in Chicago, Illinois and as the corporate paralegal at Goldsmith, Thelin, Dickson & Brown in Aurora, Illinois. During her employment at Household Merchandising, Inc., Ms. Reed was instrumental in the development of a labor relations newsletter. At Household, she also provided legal assistant support in the areas of employment discrimination charges, contract negotiations, wage and hour claims, union organizing campaigns, equal employment opportunity compliance, grievances and arbitration, safety laws and regulations and National Labor Relations Board matters. At Wessels Pautsch & Sherman P.C., Ms. Reed serves as the Firm Administrator. EducationA National Merit Finalist, Illinois State Scholar and recipient of two college scholarships, Ms. Reed graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature. She was awarded a Certificate of Completion with honors from Roosevelt University’s Lawyer’s Assistant Program, where she pursued the Generalist course of study.
