Nearly 200 business professionals attended Wessels Sherman's May 21st seminar on the latest developments in labor and employment law. The seminar, "Helping Employers in a Tough Economy," was held at the Marriott conference center next to the Mall of America and drew business representatives from nine different states. The "furthest traveled" award went to a client who came all the way from Los Angeles, California! The event featured rapid yet hard-hitting, focused presentations on 13 different topics of great importance to employers in today's challenging economic times. In addition to presentations from lawyers from each of our firm's offices in Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa; two guest speakers were well received and added great fun to the day. At the end of the seminar we heard over and over from a satisfied crowd: "When is the next seminar?" ... Stay tuned!
