We are delighted to announce that attorney Ryan M. Helgeson has joined our law firm, effective June 1st. Previously, Mr. Helgeson practiced almost exclusively in business related immigration law with a Chicago law firm that is affiliated with one of the largest law firms in China. This tremendous background has provided attorney Helgeson with a wealth of experience representing a large volume of diverse business clients in all aspects of complex immigration law matters. He has successfully procured for his clients a vast array of visas and other work authority, including H-1B and L-1 nonimmigrant visa petitions, first/second/third preference employment-based immigrant visa petitions, as well as portability issues associated with these visas. Additionally, Mr. Helgeson has practiced in the federal and state courts in Chicago in a variety of immigration law related and other business cases.
Mr. Helgeson is an honors graduate of DePaul University School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point. He will work out of the firm's St. Charles, Illinois office and will travel to assist with client matters in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa and elsewhere.
