CHARLES W. PAUTSCH has extensive legal experience, which includes negotiating collective bargaining agreements with various private and public sector unions, handling union counterorganizing campaigns, serving as labor counsel to major nationwide healthcare and retail corporations and litigating numerous cases in federal and state courts and various federal and state administrative agencies, most particularly the National Labor Relations Board, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Department of Labor, the Illinois Human Rights Commission and Wisconsin's Department of Workforce Development. Mr. Pautsch's professional highlights include service in the following positions: Labor Relations Director for Hillhaven Corporation, where he was responsible for labor negotiations for the company's four hundred nursing homes; Labor Relations Staff Counsel for Household Merchandising, Inc.; and City Attorney for the City of Aurora, Illinois. Mr. Pautsch was distinguished as a "Leading Illinois Attorney" through peer selection. This distinction has been awarded to less than five percent of all attorneys in the State of Illinois.
