Prior to joining W&P, CHRISTINA LOPEZ-NUTZMAN spent approximately six years as either a Field Examiner or Field Attorney with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) at its Region 13 office in Chicago.  As an NLRB Attorney, Ms. Lopez-Nutzman was involved with all aspects of enforcement of various provisions of the National Labor Relations Act, including working with the Regional Director and the Regional Attorney to prepare for unfair labor practice and (union) representational hearings; developing litigation theories; writing pre and pos-trial briefs; and drafting complaints at law and other pleadings, including settlement agreements and 10(j) injunction memorandums.  Ms. Lopez-Nutzman's responsibilities as a Field Examiner included conducting case investigations, writing final investigative reports, acting as a hearing officer, writing post-election decisions, and performing work in a bilingual capacity, including taking affidavits and conducting representation elections in Spanish.  She gained additional experience in the human resources field as an employment manager and recruitment team leader for Chicago area businesses. 

Ms. Lopez-Nutzman received her Juris Doctor degree from Chicago Kent College of Law. She earned a Master's degree in Labor/Human Resources and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Loyola University, Chicago
